The latter. Well it is certainly not dead. Not even sure it is delayed relative to my timing expectations. Big spreads have the advantage of requiring no precision on timing, which is the case here.
These are really hard to follow based on share price -- very similar to RENN in that regard. If we get a distribution far in excess of cost as with RENN and as I expect here than the stock market reaction doesn't really matter one way or the other. In RENN it revealed very little information; in RMLFF it doesn't either whether that's down 20% in a month or up 110% over the past year. I'd drive myself crazy were I to try to understand random people day trading stocks instead of trying to understand companies and their corporate events. They, the stock traders, probably barely understand why they do what they do so I'm unlikely to be able to understand it.
I think that article as about right but not new. Also, it is clear from that article that RMLFF claims are covered (GDRZF is not); more importantly, the process is in an early phase and other bids could emerge.
Appreciate the dialogue on this. I really just need to renew my STW subscription. You have too much good info not available elsewhere. Sometimes I'm too cheap. :(
Is RMLFF dead or just delayed?

Thank you, sir. I was pretty surprised at the steep drop lately and there is very little coverage outside of ... well, you. :)

Totally understand the frustration with traders. I bought in last January at .65 based on your research (in this article and also STW) and plan to continue holding. I was a little spooked by the recent report of opposition from Venezuelan interests reported here: https://www.reuters.com/business/elliotts-conditional-offer-selected-citgo-share-auction-case-sources-say-2024-09-27/
Thanks again!

Thanks for the update, Chris. Appreciate your hard work!
You're welcome and thank you for the encouragement. It keeps me goin'.
Chris, do you plan to update us with your thoughts on these from time to time to the same extent you do with your original recommendations?
Here? No. This was fairly one off.
