Here’s an easy $225. Apply now for the Amazon (AMZN) Chase (JPM) Visa (V) card and instantly get $200 cash back (up $50 from $150 yesterday). Literally everyone should get this.

Another easy one: invest $100 in Roots and get another $25. This private REIT has performed well so far and could continue to do well, but it is a cinch with a 25% head start.

If you don’t like this kind of thing, at least do those two above and read no further. If you like them, then here is a (slightly) harder third. Moomoo is not my favorite brokerage, but it is my favorite brokerage for harvesting sign up and other bonuses and promotions. Deposit $20k for the first time to get 60 free stocks and an 8.1% APY yield for three months. But there are all sorts of subsequent promotions. Here’s what you can get for a subsequent deposit as an existing customer (existing customer promos are harder to come by):

Moomoo

Note that it is a stingier percentage bonus as a percentage of the minimum net qualifying funding as you go up from 2% to 1.2%, 0.6%, 0.48%, then bottoming out at 0.4%, so probably go for the $10k as the subsequent deposit. Over time, Moomoo hands out $50 cash rewards for all kinds of things. They didn’t notify me or explain what they are or how to use them. Here’s what to do. Click on your profile on the app then go to ‘coupons’. I had >$1,500 of them and was glad to see that none had expired yet (they last six months). You need to do a >$100 trade then get $50 after three days. So to unlock my coupons, I needed to do 32 trades of at least $100. Having over $25k in the account helps, because that scale is a safe harbor from getting a trading ban due getting tagged for programmatic/day trading. The lowest vol/risk trade I know for this purpose is buying 2 shares of the SPDR® Bloomberg 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF (BIL), in my case 32x in order to release my coupons. I hadn’t noticed accumulating these coupons and could easily have missed them and let them expire worthless by mistake.

Caveat

I don’t otherwise use Moomoo other than to harvest promos.

Conclusion

Everyone should drop what they’re doing and get Amazon’s Prime card and a minimum investment in the Roots private REIT for a $225 profit in <5 minutes of bother. Only those who don’t mind some additional hassle should wade through Moomoo for a bunch of promo cash and shares, some of which require trading to unlock.
